Paul Rosier

Paul Rosier, Ed.D., is the executive director of the Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA), former superintendent of Kennewick (WA) School District (15,000 students) from 1994 to 2006, and former president of the Washington Association of School Administrators (2004-05). Other administrative positions in his 34-year career include superintendent of Mesa County Valley School District in Grand Junction, Colorado (18,000 students), and Page (Arizona) Unified School District (3,000 students). Rosier's doctoral dissertation in 1977 focused on initial reading strategies which moved Navajo children at Rock Point, Arizona, from the 25-30th percentile to the 50th percentile, an increase equivalent to two grades.
