       I pledge to read with children in my family or in my care 20 minutes a day, every day, from their birth through third grade.  I will make reading fun and enjoyable and will cherish this precious time with the children in my life.  

(Storytelling, repeating rhymes, talking or singing with children are ideal activities to also do during the reading time together.)
